Grupo Rotoplas reaches a preliminary agreement to purchase a leading provider of water flow solutions in Argentina


MEXICO CITY, April 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Rotoplas S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: AGUA) ("Rotoplas" or "the Company"), leading provider of individual and integrated water solutions in the Americas, announces that it has reached a preliminary agreement to acquire 100% of IPS S.A.I.C. y F., leading provider of water flow solutions in Argentina.

Carlos Rojas Mota Velasco, Chairman and CEO of Rotoplas, remarked: "This acquisition reaffirms Rotoplas' commitment to consolidating its individual solutions portfolio in Argentina, incorporating leading brands and technologies."

The acquisition will be funded with Rotoplas' own resources and it is expected to close in 2Q 2018.
