WiLAN Subsidiary Enters into License Agreement with MSI

OTTAWA, April 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - Wi-LAN Inc. ("WiLAN"), a Quarterhill Inc. ("Quarterhill") company (TSX: QTRH) (NASDAQ: QTRH), today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Anton Innovations, Inc., has granted a license for certain patents owned by Anton Innovations to MSI Computer Corporation ("MSI"). The licensed patents relate to multi-modal Wi-Fi technology.

MSI is a Taiwanese multinational information technology corporation. It designs, develops and provides computer hardware, related products and services.

The consideration paid to WiLAN and all other terms of the license agreement are confidential.
