Deloitte Earns Texas Department of Information Resources Texas.gov Services Contract to Further Enhance Constituent Digital Experience

AUSTIN, Texas, April 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) has chosen Deloitte in a competitive procurement to help the state develop and implement a more compelling and personalized digital experience for constituents and organizations conducting business with the state of Texas. The goal of the next Texas.gov contract will be to provide a portal that is on par with online retail and commercial services when it comes to ease of use, customer satisfaction and adoption of services.

Texas.gov is the official website of the state of the Texas and provides portal and payment services for Texas state agencies, institutions of higher education and eligible local governmental organizations, enabling them to conduct online business with their customers.

According to Texas officials, Texas.gov has had over 240 million site visits, and processed over 245 million financial transactions since 2000.
