Enforcement Notice - Hearing - IIROC to Hold Disciplinary Hearing for Former Blackwatch Capital Corp. UDP Sean Conacher

TORONTO, March 26, 2018 /CNW/ - A hearing has been scheduled before a Hearing Panel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) to consider whether the panel should accept a Settlement Agreement entered into between IIROC staff and Sean Conacher.

The agreement concerns conduct involving the execution of trades that did not comply with applicable regulatory requirements.

The hearing is not open to the public, but will become open in the event that the panel accepts the agreement. If the agreement is accepted, the Panel's decision and the Settlement Agreement will be made available at www.iiroc.ca.

IIROC formally initiated the investigation into Mr. Conacher's conduct in December 2014. The alleged violations occurred while he was a proprietary trader and the Ultimate Designated Person ("UDP") at Blackwatch Capital Corp., an IIROC-regulated firm.  Mr. Conacher is no longer a registrant with an IIROC-regulated firm.
