Jeff Robertson, Former CEO of Airbus DS Communications, Joins RapidSOS as GM of Public Safety


NEW YORK, March 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- RapidSOS is pleased to announce that Jeff Robertson, former CEO of Airbus DS Communications, is joining the RapidSOS team as General Manager of Public Safety. Robertson will contribute expertise from his 19+ year career in public safety as RapidSOS works to integrate a rich data link into every 9-1-1 Center nationwide.

Over the course of his career, Robertson's roles have included CEO of three 9-1-1 technology companies, executive director and original founding board member of the 9-1-1 Industry Alliance (now known as iCERT), VP and General Manager of Public Safety for Intergraph, consultant and author. Most recently, Jeff served as the CEO of the Airbus DS Communications 9-1-1 business, the home of VESTA, leading the effort to provide thousands of public safety answering points (PSAPs) across the country with Next-Generation-911 technology.
