Canadian Cannabis Retailer Fire & Flower Appoints Carman McNary as Alberta Advisory Board Chair

EDMONTON, Alberta, March 14, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fire & Flower, a corporate retail cannabis store, announces Carman R. McNary, Q.C. has been appointed as the Chair of the Alberta Advisory Board.

As Chair of the Alberta Advisory Board, Carman will assist Fire & Flower's board and executive management in the areas of social responsibility and corporate development as Canadian societal norms change with the legalization of cannabis for recreational use.

Presently acting as Counsel for Dentons, a global law firm, Mr. McNary has served as the Chair of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, Alberta Chamber of Commerce, Edmonton Community Foundation and Co-Chair of the 2017 Campaign of the United Way of the Alberta Capital Region. Mr. McNary has been awarded both the Queen Elizabeth II Golden and Diamond Jubilee Medals and the Alberta Centennial Medal, and was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 2010.
