All Five RMACT Partners are Castle Connolly "2018 Top Fertility Doctors"

NORWALK, Conn., Mar. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Based on their exceptional patient care and stand-out results, all five partners at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT) have earned the accolade "Top Doctor." The list, which is determined by peers in the medical field and published by Moffly Media, includes Dr. Mark Leondires, Dr. Spencer Richlin, Dr. Joshua M. Hurwitz, Dr. Cynthia Murdock and Dr. Shaun Williams. Moffly's 2018 Top Doctors in Fairfield County list is in the current issue of Fairfield Living, Greenwich, New Canaan-Darien, Westport and Stamford magazines.

Moffly Media's list is compiled by the renowned healthcare research firm Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., which conducts a rigorous, peer-reviewed assessment of local doctors by their peers. RMACT partners, each of which has been named to the list for multiple years, are Board Certified reproductive endocrinologist who help patients when they are struggling to build a family.

"This recognition validates what we feel everyday: our practice has something special to offer Fairfield County," says Dr. Spencer Richlin, surgical director at RMACT. "Our goal is to help patients find success through whole patient care, which is a slightly different approach than most fertility practices. And it is working; our patients are improving their health, which in turn improves their chances of having a full-term, healthy pregnancy."

Unlike most fertility practices, RMACT approaches fertility care by treating the whole patient. Before embarking on medically advanced assisted reproductive technologies such as genetic screening and in vitro fertilization (IVF), the RMACT team encourages patients to improve their overall health. Factors such as body mass index (BMI), blood sugar levels and stress or anxiety can affect hormone production and reproductive health. RMACT offers a robust nutrition program, support groups, acupuncture, yoga, emotional support, complimentary classes and counseling ? for individuals and couples ? through its Integrated Fertility and Wellness Program.
