"Oftentimes I open up a can of food and feel forced to consume it quicker than I'd like so it doesn't spoil. I also feel the same about properly sealing my 5-gallon water bottles. My invention will keep food and drink items fresher, longer," said the inventor.

The MY LID WORKS ensures an airtight, vacuum seal on various food and beverage containers. This will help to keep food and beverages fresh and appetizing for a longer time period. In addition, it helps prevent contamination. With this novel cover, individuals will not have to worry about food and beverage wastage. It is producible in various sizes to accommodate all food and beverage containers.

The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently patent pending and available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
