InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Garden Pot for Plants (DPH-246)

PITTSBURGH, March 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to keep insects from getting into my indoor plants," said an inventor from Colorado Springs, Colo. "The traps I was using simply were not effective, so I came up with a design for a garden pot that ensures that insects cannot damage the plants."

He developed the patent pending STICKY POTS to prevent insects from crawling up the pot and getting to the plant. The design safeguards plants from pests and damage. It ensures that plants live longer and healthier. The pot keeps indoor plants looking lively and attractive. It is suitable for use with a variety of plants. Furthermore, the design is effective at trapping different types of insects.

The inventor went on to say, "I noticed the behavior of gnats pestering one of my plants, and then I designed a way to trap them and rid my potted plants of such pests. My idea can be included in the design of new pots, or it can be sold as an after-market accessory for use with existing pots."

The original design was submitted to the Denver office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
