KANSAS CITY, Kan., March 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Harcros Chemicals Inc., a major chemical distributor and manufacturer for over 100 years has become a strategic partner with Emisshield, Inc; the manufacturer of high emissivity ceramic coatings.

Emisshield licensed this technology from NASA who used the principle of Emissivity in the space program to both prevent thermal shock and to re-radiate heat away from the spacecraft.  Today this coating has expanded its applications to the petrochemical industry by increasing heat transfer in processes such as: fired heaters, boilers and incinerators.
