Coupang opens Korea's largest STEAM toy store

SEOUL, South Korea, Feb. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Ecommerce platform Coupang (www.coupang.com) has opened a toy store specializing in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) education. 

The new theme store boasts the largest scale in Korea for a single category, offering over 390,000 STEAM education items at low prices. 

STEAM education refers to a creative teaching framework that integrates the five disciplines. It started as a STEM initiative in the United States, and later arts was added to the equation. Unlike the traditional lessons, this latest education trend uses fun games to learn knowledge and senses that can be applied in a daily setting.
