Come out and meet the horses and riders of the RCMP Musical Ride
OTTAWA, Feb. 20, 2018 /CNW/ - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) invites the public and the media to its annual Open House at the Musical Ride Centre on Saturday, February 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Open House is an opportunity for visitors to tour the stables and meet the horses and riders of the world-famous Musical Ride. The event will feature displays and demonstrations of RCMP activities and equipment. Bring your camera to have photos taken with the Musical Ride horses and riders.
The Mountie Shop will be open for visitors to browse. Door prizes of RCMP memorabilia will be awarded throughout the day.
Admission is free, however, we encourage visitors to bring donations for the Ottawa Food Bank.
The Musical Ride Centre is located at 1 Sandridge Road (at St. Laurent Blvd.) accessible by OC Transpo bus #7. The grounds can also be accessed off the Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier Parkway. Parking on site is free.
