March of Dimes Observes 4th Annual World Birth Defects Day

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Feb. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- March of Dimes will join nearly 100 organizations worldwide in observing the fourth annual World Birth Defects Day on Saturday, March 3. This annual event was created by March of Dimes and partners to raise awareness of the serious global problem of birth defects and to urge more research, prevention, and care for individuals and families.

An estimated 8 million babies around the world are born with a serious birth defect each year, taking a toll on families, communities and nations.
