Balance Point Capital Announces Hiring of Alexander G. Bues as Vice President, Head of Business Development

WESTPORT, Conn., Feb. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Balance Point Capital Advisors, LLC ("Balance Point"), a provider of flexible capital to lower middle market companies, is pleased to announce that Alexander G. Bues has been hired as Vice President, Head of Business Development.

Mr. Bues brings an extensive background of origination and execution of investments in the lower middle market. Prior to joining Balance Point, Mr. Bues worked for New Capital Partners, a private equity fund focused on making investments into technology and services businesses within the lower middle market. At New Capital, Mr. Bues was promoted from Associate to Manager and was responsible for leading business development efforts as well as supporting the team in diligence and execution of investments. He developed significant experience in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities across a variety of industries, including HCIT / healthcare services, TMT and business services. Mr. Bues began his career with Greenwich Associates, a strategy consulting firm focused on advising institutional asset managers on a variety of sales, marketing, product and operations issues. During his six years with Greenwich Associates, Mr. Bues was promoted up to Associate before leaving for graduate school. Mr. Bues holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Denison University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.
