Smile Wonders Invites NOVA Community to Free Day of Dentistry

RESTON, Va., Feb. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Rishita Jaju, a pediatric dentist at Smile Wonders in Reston, VA, is excited to host Give Kids a Smile® Day, a free dentistry day for kids in the Northern Virginia community on Saturday, February 24, 2018.

The event will be held at the Smile Wonders office, located at 11790 Sunrise Valley Dr. Suite 105 Reston, VA 20191. Doctors and hygienists, led by Dr. Rishita Jaju, will be available to provide complimentary dental care from 9AM to 1PM.

Throughout the day, the dental team will provide complimentary oral health screenings, education, cleanings, fluoride treatments, digital x-rays, fillings, crowns and extractions as needed. The kids do not need to be established patients of Smile Wonders or provide proof of income or dental insurance to be treated.

Local and dental vendors also get in on the action, providing items like coloring and activity books, and translated Spanish and English home care instructional materials. The event takes on a party-like atmosphere, with games, music, balloons, bubbles and toys.

In addition to hosting the free dentistry day, every February Dr. Jaju and her team visit schools and daycare centers in the area to perform dental screenings and promote good oral hygiene. This is one of the ways Smile Wonders participates in Dental Awareness Month.
