Globevest announces risk rating change to Globevest Capital Secured Put Writing Fund

MONTREAL, Feb. 7, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Globevest Capital Ltd. ("Globevest") announced today that the risk rating of Globevest Capital Secured Put Writing Fund (the "Fund") has been changed from "medium" to "low to medium." These changes will be reflected in the Fund's simplified prospectus and fund facts that will be filed on or about February 16, 2018.

The change results from the application of an industry wide updated risk classification methodology introduced by the Canadian Securities Administrators to determine the risk level of investment funds, and is not a result of any changes to the investment objectives, strategies or management of the Fund.

On at least an annual basis, Globevest reviews the risk rating of the Fund and makes adjustments to the risk rating of the Fund as required by the new methodology.
