Perennial KLAS Patient Flow Honoree Donating for Demos at HIMSS18

Pittsburgh, PA, Feb. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TeleTracking Technologies, Inc. ("TeleTracking") has been named Patient Flow Category Leader for the 7th consecutive year by U.S. healthcare market research leader KLAS. TeleTracking is honored to have received this prestigious recognition of excellence for eleven out of the past twelve years.

"We are honored to be recognized as industry leaders, working relentlessly every day to ensure that no one will ever wait for the care they need," says Kris Kaneta, TeleTracking's Senior Vice President, Marketing. "An effective patient flow strategy, when championed as a core operational principle, can have transformative effects on patient access and the timely delivery of care. Studies have found that reducing the average boarding time in our nation's emergency departments from six hours to four hours would create enough capacity to help 9.7 million more patients per year in urban communities, not to mention saving countless lives. And that as many as 20 million patient-days are lost each year simply waiting inside our hospitals."

TeleTracking will showcase its award-winning patient flow solutions at the HIMSS18 Conference & Exhibition, March 5-9, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV at booth #7301. Visitors will experience step-by-step what occurs in an operational command center when a critically ill patient needs to be transferred to a higher level of care, the opportunity to view four new mobile apps designed to meet the specific needs of executives, bedside nurses, charge nurses and patient flow managers, demonstrations on streamlining the placement process between acute and post-acute care, and demonstrations on expanding patient access and improving throughput in ambulatory settings.

Also new this year, for every demonstration conducted in booth #7301, TeleTracking will make a $100.00 donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh, which provides dental services to the underserved.
*(Must be employed by a health system or provider organization for demo to qualify for donation).

"The TeleTracking mission?to ensure that no one will ever wait for the care they need?is one of noble service to patients, caregivers and the community-at-large," says TeleTracking's Chairman and CEO, Michael Zamagias. "A strong desire to make a difference in people's lives, and act with compassion, is at the heart of everything we do."

Registration is open for all TeleTracking HIMSS18 sessions (booth #7301). In addition, TeleTracking's patient flow experts will also be available to conduct private demonstrations of TeleTracking's patient flow solutions by appointment.

About TeleTracking
For every hour patients wait for care, they face objectively worse outcomes. TeleTracking believes it is unacceptable that patients are not able to access the care they need, when they need it, due to operating inefficiencies and unnecessary cost barriers. Our mission is simple, to ensure no one waits for the care they need. Named one of Becker's "Great Places to Work" and a Pittsburgh Business Times "Corporate Citizenship Award" winner, TeleTracking delivers extraordinary outcomes that have been the subject of study by the RAND Corporation, and is the perennial KLAS Patient Flow Category Leader.
