OTTAWA, Feb. 5, 2018 /CNW/ - It's midway through the cold, dark winter months and many students in high schools, colleges and universities are planning their spring or March break vacations. As you get ready to spend time with your friends, remember the risks associated with alcohol and drug use and know what to do in an overdose situation.

With the ongoing opioid crisis in Canada and the United States, it is important to remember the dangers associated with drug and alcohol use and to recognize the signs of an overdose.
