Tips for Super Bowl LII Game-Goers: Dress Warm, Plan Ahead for Transportation
MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- As football fans from across the globe arrive for Super Bowl LII, the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee is providing tips to game-goers for their travel to U.S. Bank Stadium on gameday. Ticketholders are encouraged to dress warmly and plan ahead.
Dress Warmly: All fans attending the game should expect to spend some time outdoors on their way into and out of U.S. Bank Stadium. Utilize these tips to stay warm on gameday:
Game-goers should dress in layers including hats, gloves, and scarves to cover extremities
Comfortable and warm shoes are recommended
Make use of easily accessible items such as reusable hand warmers
Layers will help when fans reach the stadium, where it will be a perfect 72 degrees inside
Plan Ahead: Fans attending the game are encouraged to plan ahead for their transportation to U.S. Bank Stadium:
Public transit is the easiest and warmest way to arrive at U.S. Bank Stadium. Security check points at Mall of America (Blue Line) or Stadium Village (Green Line) will take fans on an express train arriving inside the secure stadium perimeter. Round trip tickets are just $30, available for purchase on metrotransit.org. Tickets should be purchased in advance and are not available on gameday.

Due to stadium security and the proximity of the stadium to the light rail line, regular light rail service will not operate on gameday. In place of the Blue Line from Mall of America, and the Green Line between Stadium Village and Target Field, free replacement bus service will operate on gameday for non-ticketholders.
Visit mnsuperbowl.com/transportation for a comprehensive Know Before You Go guide with information on parking, transit including the Gameday Express trains, skyways, and dressing for the weather.
In-Stadium Entertainment: To encourage fans to arrive early to the stadium on gameday, there will be a number of in-stadium entertainment elements:
