Inventor Designs Humane Pet-Deterrent System

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Two inventors from North, N.J., know the common difficulty of preventing pets from breaching certain areas of the home. "My cat won't stay off the kitchen counter, but I did not want to use something like a shock system to deter this," said one inventor. "I also did not want to use a system with a motion sensor because it went off whenever a human passed by, which was annoying and wasted a lot of compressed air and became very costly. So I have decided to design a more humane and efficient way."

The patent-pending JS PET DETERRENT SYSTEM provides an effective way to deter a pet from entering a restricted area. It keeps the pet out of danger, as well as protects certain items or home environments.

Humane and easy to use, the system also eliminates the need to use shock deterrents, motion detectors or compressed air, which provides peace of mind for both the pet and the owner. It also does not spray unnecessarily with human motion.

The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
