Misty Gaubatz grew up in an environment no child should have to endure. She has used her past experiences to become a strong advocate to help children in abusive situations. She regularly volunteers for children's shelters in her home town in Montana. In addition, Misty plans to use her legal degree to advocate for children in the courtroom.

Morgan Levine began her child advocacy campaign as a Bat Mitzvah project, but it's grown to be much more than that. She works with children with special needs, and has a special connection to a girl with cerebral palsy named Arielle. Morgan hopes to use her law degree to launch her into a career of lawmaking and advocacy.

Jessica Beugen grew up in a tumultuous home, but always knew one of her teachers could be a shoulder to lean on. When she was of eligible age, Jessica became the youngest Guardian ad Litem in Palm Beach County, Florida. She continues career even in law school, and plans to be an attorney who promotes social justice and has a positive impact in the lives of children.

"We are so happy to be able to contribute to the education of these women who do so much for others," Michael Steinger of Steinger, Iscoe & Greene said.

The Steinger, Iscoe & Greene Law Scholarship for Child Advocates is awarded twice a year to qualified and deserving law school students. To learn more about this scholarship, visit http://www.injurylawyers.com/child-advocate-scholarship/.
