Government of Canada awards $250,000 in financial assistance to Laiterie des trois vallées Inc. in Mont-Laurier

David Graham, Member of Parliament for Laurentides?Labelle, acting on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, announced that Laiterie des trois vallées Inc. (website in French only) has been granted $250,000 in financial assistance, in the form of a repayable contribution, to ensure its growth.

Laiterie des trois vallées started out as a group of dairy producers in the Hautes-Laurentides and Haute-Gatineau regions. In 1992, the enterprise acquired Laiterie Bélanger to help it maintain its regional activities, which started in 1944. Laiterie des trois vallées now has 15 employees. It produces pasteurized milk in a variety of formats, chocolate milk, cream and soft ice cream. The dairy company has been providing industrial clients with milk for processing since 2014.

The funding awarded through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program (QEDP) will help the business acquire new equipment and expand its facilities.
