Media Advisory - Minister Philpott to Provide Briefing to Media on the Key Priorities of the new Department of Indigenous Services Canada
OTTAWA, Jan. 19, 2018 /CNW/ - Please be advised that the Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Indigenous Services, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Indigenous Services, Jean-François Tremblay, will provide a briefing to media to outline key priorities of the new Department of Indigenous Services Canada. The creation of this new department was announced in August 2017, and officially created by Orders in Council on November 30, 2017.
Following the presentation, both Minister Philpott and Deputy Minister Tremblay will be available to answer questions from the media.
