Natural Alternatives International, Inc. Announces Allowance of New U.S. Instant Release Beta-Alanine Patent Application

("NAI") (NASDAQ: NAII), a leading formulator, manufacturer and marketer of customized nutritional supplements, announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued a Notice of Allowance for NAI instant release beta-alanine patent application entitled "Methods And Compositions For Increasing The Anaerobic Working Capacity In Tissues."  The newly allowed application becomes part of NAI's global patent estate covering its CarnoSyn^® instant release beta-alanine product.
