Portland-based Envista Group acquires Sky High Sports Network

PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Portland-based Envista Group today announced the acquisition of the Sky High Sports Network comprised of fourteen trampoline parks across the country that host more than one million jumpers per year.

Envista Group was created in 2012 as a private investment vehicle that acquired local Portland businesses.  Under the leadership of president and managing partner Elizabeth Kramer, the firm has grown into a national company with a focus on fitness and active family entertainment.  The Sky High Sports Network joins the other portfolio companies of Northwest Women's Fitness in Portland and Sky High Sports in Tigard.

Today Sky High is one of the nation's leading brands of active family entertainment centers where demand for fun and family entertainment is on the rise.  Several hundred employees are now working for the Envista Group's member companies, including more than 120 team members in Portland.

The original flagship Sky High Sports location was founded by Ron and Jerry Raymond in Santa Clara, California in 2006.  Jerry Raymond is the former chairman of the International Association of Trampoline Parks, as well as a member of the Trampoline Court Task Group that wrote the ASTM worldwide trampoline park manufacturing standards.

These industry leaders partnered with Elizabeth Kramer and her proven record of success to implement an ambitious growth strategy. A serial entrepreneur who brings extensive operations experience in large, multi-unit businesses, Elizabeth Kramer was formerly a founding manager of Enterprise Rent-A-Car in London where she managed that business from a start-up to over 150 locations around the United Kingdom that generated $100 million in revenue.  She later served as regional vice president of KinderCare Learning Centers with responsibility for over 200 licensed early childhood education centers and 2,000 employees.  Kramer then joined Insight Schools as chief operating officer and grew that business from start-up to ten locations with over $50 million in revenue before founding Envista Group in 2012.  This private equity firm has acquired four businesses and sold one in the past five years.

Kramer and her husband Keith Oelrich, chief executive officer of Portland-based Learning.com, are long-time Pacific Northwest residents with roots in Oregon and Washington.  Their three children attended Portland-area public schools where Kramer has been active in the education community and on the board of directors of Cascade AIDS Project.
