Verge Fitness, a New State-of-the-Art Health and Wellness Facility Geared Toward Everyday People, Launches in Bismarck, ND

BISMARCK, N.D., Jan. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Longtime fitness club owners, brothers Aaron and Kris Moos, are launching a new, independent health and wellness facility next to Kirkwood Mall in the center of south Bismarck, ND. Formerly a Gold's Gym, the newly branded facility is making a point of shedding the masculine, bodybuilder identity of the Gold's brand with programs and amenities that appeal to the general public, both workout novices and people who are more fitness-oriented.

"We wanted to appeal to a broader crowd," explains co-owner, coach, and doctor Aaron Moos. "We wanted to build a place where everybody feels comfortable coming in the door, no matter who you are, in shape or out of shape, or whether you've ever worked out in your life. And then we are here to help you along the way. We are your coaches and your team."

"We don't want to be just another fitness facility," echoes co-owner Kris Moos. "Our goal is to stand out for customer service, cleanliness, and helping people achieve results."

Adding more variety for members seeking fun and challenging functional fitness routines, Verge has also installed a fully customizable Nova-6 apparatus & 50-foot functional turf area. Verge is on the cutting edge of another fitness trend as well. It has the distinction of being the first club in the west to incorporate the newly developed science-based Regymen routine into the club. Featuring a mix of 30-, 60, and 90-minute workouts that emphasize burning calories and fat plus building muscle, Regymen's routines are designed to prevent workout plateaus.

The 20,000-square foot club features more than 60 studio classes per week, men's and women's locker rooms, a drop-in kids' club, a lounge area, three exercise studios, a sauna, tanning beds, and a smoothie bar plus café shop.

The club offers three membership levels, with the lowest-price option starting at $19.95/month. "We aim to be affordable," notes co-owner Kris Moos. "For us, it's about helping people with lifestyle changes and achieving results," emphasizes Aaron Moos. "North Dakota has the second-highest rate of childhood obesity of any state, and 1/3 of adults are obese. We want to help change those statistics. We know it's do-able, and we have the club and the staff to help real people see real results."
