WatchBox Announces Plans for Swiss Headquarters and Prepares for Expansion into Western European Markets

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- WatchBox, the global ecommerce platform for the buying, selling, and trading of pre-owned luxury timepieces, announces plans to open a Swiss division to add to the Company's existing U.S. and Hong Kong locations.  WatchBox co-founders Danny Govberg, Liam Wee Tay and Justin Reis have secured an expansive location in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, centrally located between Geneva and Zurich, for the new office. Renovations, construction, and interior design work are scheduled to be unveiled in late spring 2018.

Global pre-owned luxury watch ecommerce platform WatchBox expands into Switzerland

"With our continued expansion into new global markets, WatchBox both affirms its position as a global powerhouse within the pre-owned luxury watch market and demonstrates our commitment to serving as trusted partner and resource for our clients wherever they are in the world," said Danny Govberg.

Fueled by the success of the U.S. and Hong Kong divisions, WatchBox founders view offline integration in key global markets as essential to the e-commerce platform's development.  Entry into Switzerland, the heart of the watch industry, elevates WatchBox's global visibility, and offers watch enthusiasts, consumers, and international visitors a convenient and discreet pre-owned luxury watch experience. With spectacular views of Lake Neuchâtel, WatchBox's new space includes a showroom for private appointments, event space, and a video studio.

WatchBox plans to expand into additional Western European markets early in 2018, with the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Italy representing the next regions for growth.
