PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- In the wake of its continued successful rollout as an innovative brand of fitness and yoga, TruFusion announced today its expansion into the Philadelphia region. The first of seven locations across the Philadelphia region, including the Main Line and South Jersey, will open in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia by the end of 2018. New TruFusion locations in Scottsdale, St. Louis, San Francisco, Dallas, Birmingham, Miami, and three in New York City are also slated to open by the end of the year.
Philadelphia entrepreneur and real estate developer Dana Spain bought the area development rights for seven TruFusion properties in and around Philadelphia. She will serve as the franchisee for one of these venues, a mixed-use, retail/residential development located at 1150 N. American Street. As with other TruFusion studios, its Philadelphia area locations will feature a unique blend of yoga, cycle, Pilates, kettlebell, barre, bootcamp, boxing and other classes, allowing members to customize their experience based on their interests and fitness level.
The brand has had a series of significant announcements regarding rapid international expansion as well as bringing on World Series champion and 14-time All-Star Alex Rodriguez as a major investor, equity partner and board member.
"Philadelphia is an obvious choice for TruFusion market expansion as it is not only a vibrant city but one that places a high value on fitness and athleticism," said Rodriguez. "The city is primed and ready for a unique offering like TruFusion and we can't wait for Philadelphians to experience the brand."
The much-hyped hybrid group fitness brand has three existing locations in Las Vegas, as well as EDGE by TruFusion locations in San Marcos, California; Beaverton, Oregon; Happy Valley, Oregon; and Tigard, Oregon. Since its launch in Las Vegas in 2013, TruFusion has earned a reputation for having the best variety of classes, workshops and hot fusion workouts, and was named among the "Best of Las Vegas" by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. With an emphasis on community, variety, and experiential satisfaction, TruFusion and its certified instructors offer up to 35 classes a day, or 240 per week, in up to 65 different styles, all under one roof and at an affordable price.
