Tuknik Government Services LLC awarded Contract to provide Systems and Data Analysis for the Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians at the Department of Interior

CHANTILLY, Va., Jan. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tuknik Government Services, LLC (TGS), subsidiary of Koniag Government Services and an SBA 8(a) certified small business and Indian Economic Enterprise, has been awarded a contract to support the Department of Interior Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians. Under this new contract, TGS will ensure mission data integration, optimization, availability and integrity for hierarchical operational reporting, analysis, dashboards and visualization, in support of OST's enterprise business systems and performance data requirements. This is part of the DOI IT modernization effort which will result in significant cost savings.

The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) Office of the Special Trustee (OST) for American Indians was created to improve the accountability and management of Indian funds held in trust by the Federal Government. As trustee, DOI has the primary fiduciary responsibility to manage both Tribal trust funds and Individual Indian Monies (IIM) accounts.
