Therap Hosts Nebraska Independent Provider Workshops at the 2018 National Conference in Omaha


OMAHA, Neb., Jan. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Therap is offering interactive workshops for its National Conference attendees from the state of Nebraska providing community based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that receive funding from the State of Nebraska, Division of Developmental Disabilities, DHHS.  Nebraska Independent providers currently use Therap's attendance features to bill for services in daily or hourly increments.  Attendees will take part in discussions including implementing Therap's billing system to meet state specific regulations, and creating person centered plans that meet federal regulations.

The workshops will include discussions on the following topics:

Therap for Independent Providers Part 1: How to bill for services on Therap using the attendance module.

Therap for Independent Providers Part 2: ISP Programs and Data, Habilitative Documentation - How to create person-centered ISP programs to document services, outcomes, etc. that support billing and meet state and federal regulations.

Therap for Independent Providers Part 3: Incident Reporting - Discuss what Therap's incident reporting process looks like in Nebraska. Review the process of creating and submitting the GER, approving the GER, and timeline from creation to approval.

Therap for Independent Providers Part 4: Health and Other Data - An overview of the health tracking modules, how they display data and reports, and some best practice considerations for nursing and health monitoring activities.

Therap for Independent Providers Part 5: SComm, Notifications, Therap Tips, Tricks, and answers.
