D-BOX Technologies Inc. announces the appointment of Jean-René Halde as Chairman of the Board of Directors

MONTREAL, Jan. 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- D-BOX Technologies Inc. (TSX:DBO), the world leader in immersive entertainment experiences, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-René Halde as Chairman of the Board of Directors. 

Since 1979, Mr. Halde has held Chief Executive Officer roles in a number of leading companies such as Metro-Richelieu Inc., Culinar Inc. and Livingston Group Inc. He was most recently President and CEO of the Business Development Bank of Canada from 2005 to 2015 when he retired.

He presently is a director of the TD Bank Group, Chairman of École de Technologie Supérieure, a large engineering school, and an advisor or director to a number of private companies. Mr. Halde was Chairman of the Conference Board of Canada, the Montreal Heart Institute and the Grocery Products Manufacturers of Canada. He served on the boards of a number of public companies such as RONA, Provigo, Gaz Metropolitain and CCL Industries, as well as on the boards of a number of private companies and not-for-profit organizations.
