Drake's Organic White Rum Takes Home the Gold at 1st Annual Asia International Spirits Competition
MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Drake's Organic Spirits, a Minneapolis-based distiller of organic rum and vodka, announced today that it continues to add to its already impressive array of medals by taking Gold in the Rum category and Silver in the Vodka category at the recent Asia International Spirits Competition held in September and November 2017 in Hong Kong. The competition is the first major international spirits competition with trade-only judges comprised of buyers from the top retail stores, sommeliers, mixologists, restaurant owners, hotel beverage directors, distributors, and importers.
Previously, Drake's Organic White Rum received the only Double Gold medal awarded to a rum at the 2017 Global Spirits Awards along with the title of Best Rum (White). Its counterpart, Drake's Organic Vodka, won a Gold medal from the 2017 San Diego Spirits Festival International Spirits Competition.
