Phoenix Lab To Offer GIARDIA VET CHEKtm From TECHLAB®


BLACKSBURG, Va. and MUKILTEO, Wash., Jan. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- TECHLAB, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of rapid non-invasive diagnostic tests for gastrointestinal diseases, today announced that Phoenix Lab will be one of the first veterinary reference labs in the Pacific Northwest to offer the GIARDIA VET CHEKTM test to its customers. Phoenix Lab is demonstrating its commitment to quality diagnostics by using the first USDA licensed Giardia microwell ELISA available for use in dogs and cats in the US veterinary market.

Giardia is a common parasitic cause of diarrhea in dogs and cats.1 The GIARDIA VET CHEKtm test is an automatable enzyme immunoassay optimized for canine and feline fecal samples to aid in the diagnosis of giardiasis. The GIARDIA VET CHEKtm test is the first TECHLAB, Inc. product to be manufactured under the Company's USDA establishment license.
