Root Robotics Receives Commitment From CODING&PLAY To Deploy 50,000 ROOT Coding Robots In Korea


LAS VEGAS, Jan. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Root Robotics announced today that it has received a commitment from CODING&PLAY, a children's education company based in Korea, to purchase and deploy 50,000 ROOT robots in Korea. The companies announced that, along with this commitment, CODING&PLAY will receive exclusive distribution rights for ROOT products into the Korean market.

Root Robotics delivers a complete learning experience for users of any age or skill level using the ROOT app designed to grow with the user as their skills and knowledge improve. The three levels of the ROOT app offer valuable tools for logic, problem solving and creativity. The app begins with simple sequences, patterns, loops and visual language, and works up to advanced programming languages such as Python, JavaScript and Swift. ROOT robots are on display this week in the Root Robotics exhibit at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Tech West, Sands Hall D, booth #43961.

CODING&PLAY is a children's coding education company that teaches coding to children in Korea as an afterschool program. As part of this partnership, ROOT will be deployed to all 50 of the CODING&PLAY coding education centers in Korea with a custom curriculum.
