Fire Service Plus, Inc. Awarded Military Certification on FireAde® Under New Qualified Product Listing Requirements
FAYETTEVILLE, Ga., Jan. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Fire Service Plus, Inc., manufacturer of FireAde® firefighting technology, AFFF foams, and Enforcer® Compressed Air Foam Systems, has announced the successful completion of military certification with Mil Spec Type 3 and Mil Spec Type 6 FireAde® foams, and the addition of FireAde® Mil Spec 3 and FireAde® Mil Spec 6 to the MIL-PRF-24385 QPL for military use. It is with great excitement that these products have passed certification under new EPA environmental standards for adapting C6 technology into the fire service. These products reinforce our commitment to environmental formulations of our brand for use worldwide and position FireAde® for success in the coming years with the best performing product in fire service operations. The addition of these products open FireAde® to global use by militaries and international airports.
This year-end achievement bookends other Fire Service Plus, Inc. significant accomplishments, which include the successfully completed re-certification of UL 162 with FireAde® AR-AFFF, and the dual re-certification of our signature product FireAde® with UL 162 and NFPA 18-2017 ratings. This certifies FireAde® as both a Class A and Class B product in one formula, a specification unmatched by competing products on the market. Both certifications require rigorous testing under new guidelines related to C6 formulations of our products.
In addition to UL 162 and NFPA 18-2017, FireAde® acquired CCC S, China Certification for Safety Products, which allows for distribution and import of FireAde® and Enforcer® products within China, opening the second largest world economy to the superior performance of FireAde® in protecting cities and people from fire. FireAde® was also certified SFI 17.1 and FIA under Spa Technique's FireSense in-car racing systems to protect drivers in drag racing from fire, reinforcing our commitment to driver safety and partnership behind the wheel and on the track. This certification coincides with our sponsorship with NHRA Top Fuel Drag Racer Leah Pritchett, the Don Schumacher Racing Team, and continued presence within IHRA, PDRA, Miss Geico, NASCAR, IMSA, Lucas Oil Dirt Racing, and Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing series.
