SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Massage Heights, a leader of professional, affordable and convenient therapeutic massage and facial services, announced today that local husband-and-wife entrepreneurs David and Janette Burlington have acquired the Massage Heights location at 303 W. Parkwood Ave. in Friendswood, Texas. Massage Heights Friendswood first opened its doors in 2012, with the Burlingtons assuming ownership in October 2017.

David Burlington has been with Massage Heights for over a decade, most recently as the area manager for the Washington Heights and Sienna Village locations in the Houston area. Prior to that role, David managed the Leon Springs Retreat in San Antonio, which is owned and operated by his sister, Jennifer Burlington. Under David's leadership, Leon Springs and Washington Heights became Massage Heights' top-performing locations in the country. Before joining Massage Heights, David was a general manager in the restaurant industry, as well as a bass fishing guide and a competitive bass fisherman.

As part of its nationwide expansion plans, Massage Heights is seeking qualified franchisees and area developers to join its growing brand. Prospective single- and multi-unit franchisees should have $175,000 in liquid assets and minimum $400,000 net worth per location, as well as experience in sales or retail management and managing hourly wage employees.
