Inception Companies Hires Television and Film Producer Damon Gambuto as Executive Producer of Kampfire

FAIRFIELD, N.J., Dec. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Inception Companies announce that Damon Gambuto, a longtime producer for television and film, has joined Kampfire as Executive Producer. In his new role Damon will work in partnership with Kampfire's award-winning Creative Director, Kennedy, and will have full responsibility for the group's growth and success. A member of the senior leadership team, Damon will report to Matt Giegerich, CEO of Inception Companies.

Damon served as Executive Producer for HGTV's hit reality series, House Hunters International, overseeing more than six hundred episodes and a staff of more than one hundred. Earlier, Damon executive produced numerous television episodes and pilots including House Hunters, Off the Grid, Restoring Glory & Genevieve's Renovation (HGTV), Restaurant Redemption & Restaurant Divided, (Food Network), Rocco's Dinner Party (Bravo), No Kitchen Required (BBC America), and Bigger in Texas (A&E).

Beginning his career under Academy Award winning documentarian Errol Morris, Damon later joined Universal Pictures' motion picture group where he worked on numerous feature films including Patch Adams, The Rundown, Mystery Men, Bride of Chucky, The Bone Collector, The Family Man, American Pie and 2 Fast, 2 Furious. As Director of Development for Jessica Lange's production company, Prairie Films, Damon oversaw numerous projects, including the award-winning feature film Titus and the television movie My Sister's Keeper. Rounding out his many accomplishments, Damon produced the award-winning PBS series Wired Science, Meet the Folks (NBC), The Family Feud (syndicated), KillerOutbreaks (Animal Planet), and the firstever Google branded documentary series, Hackworks.
