We Vow Announces Quarterly Community Give-Back Campaign: Fresh Start Packages
TORONTO, Dec. 7, 2017 /CNW/ - We Vow, a national youth social justice campaign, is proud to announce the first of our quarterly community give-back campaigns: Fresh Start Packages. We are assembling packages for distribution to women living in shelters to help empower them in establishing their new lives.
Packages will include toiletries, makeup, sanitary products, casual clothing and one outfit appropriate for job interviews to make sure she has the best foot forward from the start.
We call on our supporters to help by donating cash or new essentials noted above. Do you work in retail or fashion and know of samples, unsold merchandise or last season's garments? Donations or deep discounts are welcome.
Help us #WeVow #WeVowLove this season. We encourage you share this experience at home or in the classroom by discussing with your children. Together we can create an army of young social justice crusaders!

We Vow is a national campaign of love to inspire, engage and empower young people to take action against social injustice -- intolerance, racism, poverty and bullying -- in their communities. Launched a year ago, We Vow has been working with educators to spread the message in classrooms. Our curriculum is now being used by teachers across Canada and the US.
The campaign's website, WeVow.ca, invites young people to commit to specific actions ? vows ? designed to improve their schools, families, neighbourhoods and communities. From raising money for local social service agencies to volunteering with breakfast programs to shoveling snow for neighbours in need, young people are asked to make a difference, share their acts of love with WeVow.ca, spread the word and inspire others.
