Payformance Solutions Hires Kevin Mehta as Chief Technology Officer

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Dec. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Payformance Solutions, a leading provider of value-based reimbursement solutions and services, announced today that it has hired Kevin Mehta as chief technology officer. Mehta joins Payformance from KPMG, where he spent 11 years as a management consultant, most recently serving as national lead for KMPG's Analytics Driving Insights practice with a special focus on government health and human services.

At Payformance, Mehta will focus on building data-driven, turnkey software solutions that provide payers and providers with the technical tools and resources needed to design, evaluate, build, measure and negotiate value-based reimbursement contracts. Payformance recently launched with a substantial investment from respected research and consulting nonprofit Altarum Institute with the goal of accelerating the healthcare system's transition to value-based payment models.

During his tenure at KPMG, Mehta partnered with data scientists and software engineers to leverage predictive and prescriptive analytics to guide strategy with the goal of designing impactful solutions, most notably for clients pursuing Medicaid transformations. He worked with payers, providers, and government clients, leveraging advanced analytics to develop and execute strategic initiatives to bend the cost curve, while improving the quality of care.
