WASHINGTON, Dec. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, "We are urging an employee of a company providing services to a federal agency to call us anytime at 866-714-6466 if their employer is double billing or ripping off the federal government in any possible significant way. Earlier this year a whistleblower exactly like this received nearly $650,000 for this type of information. As we would like to discuss defrauding federal agencies on the part of companies happens every day. If you can prove it and the wrongdoing is a million dollars-please give us a call." http://CorporateWhistleblower.Com
In February of 2017 the Department of Justice announced a company had agreed to back $3,818,881 to settle allegations under the False Claims Act that had been double-billing and charging for medical services for work performed on a federal contract. The settlement agreement resolved allegations that from April 2009 through April 2014 the federal contractor had knowingly double-charged the United States for various medical testing. As mentioned in this instance the whistleblower reward was $645,391.
The Corporate Whistleblower Center is especially interested in hearing from an employee of a company double billing or over billing a federal agency for services never rendered especially if the federal agency is one of the following:
According to the Corporate Whistleblower Center, "We are certain there are thousands of US citizens who have proof their employer is over billing a federal agency. At a minimum, we are encouraging people like this to call us anytime at 866-714-6466 for a confidential conversation about the potential value of their information. Why sit on a potentially winning lotto ticket without ever knowing what it might have been worth?" http://CorporateWhistleblower.Com
Simple rules for a whistleblower from the Corporate Whistleblower Center: Do not go to the government first if you want to become a whistleblower: The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, "Major whistleblowers frequently go to the government thinking they will help. It's a huge mistake. Do not go to the news media with your whistleblower information either. Any type of public revelation of a whistleblower's information could destroy the prospect for a reward. Do not try to force a government contractor or individual to come clean about over billing the federal government out of millions of dollars, or by failing to abide by the terms of contract with the federal government. Come to us first, tell us what information you have and if it is sufficient we will either assist you or we will get you to people who can assist." http://CorporateWhistleblower.Com
The Corporate Whistleblower Center wants to emphasize there are high quality whistleblowers in every state, including California, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, or Alaska.
