ITUS Will Present Data on Early Cancer Detection Technology at ASCO-SITC Symposium


SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ITUS Corporation (NASDAQ: ITUS) today announced that its abstract titled, "The coupling of MDSCs with a computational analytic method to detect solid tumors," was accepted for presentation at the 2nd annual American Society of Clinical Oncology-Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (ASCO-SITC) Clinical Immuno-oncology Symposium in San Francisco, CA. Myeloid-derived suppressor cells, or MDSCs, are a key group of white blood cells that form the foundation for ITUS' liquid biopsy technology.

The presentation will focus on ITUS' proprietary Cchektm platform which couples immuno-oncology and artificial intelligence technologies to enable the detection of solid tumors from a blood sample.  Contributing authors are Dr. Amit Kumar, Dr. George Dominguez, John Roop, Anthony Campisi, and Cyrus Sholevar of ITUS Corporation along with Alexander Polo, Dr. Dmitry Gabrilovich, and Dr. Frank Rauscher III, from The Wistar Institute.
