50 AffloVests in 50 States, the Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation and International Biophysics partner to help Cystic Fibrosis patients


AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation and International Biophysics Corporation, the manufacturer of the AffloVest®, have paired to provide 50 Cystic Fibrosis patients with next generation airway clearance therapy.

Colton's Legacy Project

Starting in January 2018 the foundation will deliver one AffloVest to a recipient with cystic fibrosis in every state in the U.S. The fifty AffloVests, a fully mobile airway clearance therapy, are being donated to the foundation by the manufacturer, International Biophysics Corporation of Austin, Texas.

The Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation was created in 2015 by former NFL Linebacker, Colton Underwood. The foundation encourages youth participation in athletics and provides resources for research and support of people living with Cystic Fibrosis.

The AffloVest, a fully mobile during use HFCWO (High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation) airway clearance device, pioneered mechanical oscillation airway clearance therapy for patients with severe respiratory diseases such as cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, and other neuromuscular diseases.
