Student Anglers Compete to Reel in Big Bass Scholarships


ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- FishAngler, the free app for anglers to connect, catch and compete has teamed up with 2017 Major League Fishing World ChampionBobby Lane for the 7th Annual Bobby Lane High School Cup (BLC), taking place Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at Camp Mack River Resort on Lake Kissimmee.

Over 400 student anglers and 200 boat captains will cast their lures in hopes winning one of twelve post-secondary educational scholarships each worth $1,000. In addition, a DJI Spark Drone Kit and an Abu Garcia Revo Fishing Reel will be the winning prizes for an in-app FishAngler contest during the tournament. Phoenix Boats will also be giving away a Phoenix 919 Pro XP to a lucky winner.
