Pinna to Release New Festive Advent-Style Podcast "Christmas Is Coming!"
NEW YORK, Nov. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Pinna, Panoply Media's ad-free children's audio app, today announced the launch of a new daily Advent-style podcast called Christmas Is Coming!. The podcast series will premiere on December 1, and release a new episode with original artwork every day through December 24.
Each new episode allows kids to tune into the North Pole's radio station "WXMAS." Jolly Snowspice, WXMAS host, has breaking news: For the first time in 862 years, the annual journey to visit kids from the four corners of the Earth is changing guard. And when the entire mission is put in jeopardy, listeners will see if it can it be completed in time to save Christmas.

The series was written, produced and composed by David Kreizman, Benjamin Strouse and Chris Tarry from youth-focused production company Gen-Z Media. They are the talent behind Pinna's Peabody award-winning podcast The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel. The cast of the series includes several accomplished actors including Leer Leary (Jolly Snowspice), and child actors Rosa Isabella (Manny), Drew Beasley (Piper Peppercorn), Alexandria Suarez (Holly Berry) and more. The young talent in this show hasprevious experience working with Sesame Street productions, Dreamworks, Disney and on Broadway.
