Tetchy Tech, a Minnesota company that buys and sells used cell phones and smart devices, partners with Children's Hospital of Minnesota in a Unique Charitable Give Back Program

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Tetchy Tech is pleased to announce their partnership with Children's Hospital of Minnesota, as one of the first major non-profits to sign onto Tetchy Tech's newly created Give Back Program! Children's Hospital of Minnesota is one of the largest freestanding pediatric health systems in the United States, with 2 hospitals, 12 primary care and 6 rehabilitation clinics and 9 specialty care sites. They are the only health system and Level I Trauma Center in Minnesota that provides care exclusively to children prior to birth through young adulthood.

This past June the Tetchy Tech team volunteered to be the gear check sponsor for Children's HeartBeat 5000 race in Minneapolis.

"HeartBeat 5000 was an amazing event and for a great cause. I was blown away by the amount of participation and support everyone was able to contribute. I'm proud to not only support Children's Minnesota but also be a part of a company that helped sponsor the event; it was truly impactful on my own heart to see the joy on the children's faces. Children's Minnesota is making a difference in children's lives and their futures," said Jed Hanson of Tetchy Tech.

Jeff Johnson, also of Tetchy Tech, added, "Being a part of the Children's HeartBeat 5000 5K was great. Seeing everybody out there running for a friend or family member and knowing we were all making a difference was amazing. My little brother got a liver transplant 3 years ago while staying at Children's so I always love helping out because it is events and activities such as this that give children hope and a second chance at life."

Anyone can help Children's or other participating charitable organizations by going to the website Tetchy.tech and sending in a used device and choosing to give back the value at checkout. Helping is easy; simply select the "give back" option, choose your device and answer a few questions about its condition to see how much of an impact you'll have.
