BRC-certified AA rating for Congebec
QUEBEC CITY, Nov. 28, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - After a rigourous certification audit, Congebec inc. is proud to announce that it has received British Retail Consortium (BRC) higest unannounced rating of Double A certification for its Boucherville Facility. BRC is compliant with world storage and distribution standards for refrigerated and frozen food products.

Certification recognized worldwide
BRC's world standard certification for food safety recently obtained by Congebec demonstrates the company's level of competence in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), hygiene, food safety and quality systems. It also is a gauge of its commitment to consumer safety and the importance of its working relations with its clients, partners and suppliers. The BRC standard is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), a program to harmonize food safety standards with the support of the world's biggest food distributors and manufacturers.
Congebec's BRC AA certification comes on the heels of last summer's outstanding news. The construction of a new multi-temp refrigeration centre in Mississauga, Ontario, with high energy efficiency, proof yet again of Congebec's will to be a trendsetter in its field.
