Christina Goldschmidt, VP of Customer Experience and Design at Cake & Arrow, Wins Gold Stevie® Award for Women in Business


NEW YORK, Nov. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- We are thrilled to announce that Christina Goldschmidt, VP of Customer Experience and Design at Cake & Arrow has been named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Women Helping Women category in the 14th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Christina was also honored with a Bronze Stevie Award in the Category of Female Executive of the Year.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world's top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run.  All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations ? public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2017 awards received entries from 25 nations and territories.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for "crowned," the awards were presented to winners on Friday night during a dinner event attended by more than 500 people at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.  The event was broadcast via Livestream.

More than 1,500 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Entrepreneur of the Year, Executive of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year, among others.  Christina won Gold in the Women Helping Women category for Business?Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Services & Media and Bronze in the Female Executive of the Year category for Business Services?11 to 2,500 employees.

The Gold Stevie Award for Women Helping Women recognizes Christina's incredible efforts throughout the past year to empower other women to succeed in the workplace. Not only is Christina a mentor to other aspiring female UX and business leaders, she also sits on the Design Thinking board at Rutgers University, teaches UX courses to graduate students at NYU Stern School of Business, and earlier this year founded The Archery Club, a women's group that meets monthly to explore gender equality issues in the workplace and provide women with opportunities for growth and empowerment.
