Media Advisory - Minister Brison to attend the Open Government Partnership Americas Regional Meeting 2017
OTTAWA, Nov. 20, 2017 /CNW/ - The President of the Treasury Board, the Honourable Scott Brison, will attend the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Americas Regional Meeting 2017 hosted by the Government of Argentina in Buenos Aires on November 21 and 22.
As the incoming government co-chair of the OGP Steering Committee, Canada intends to play a prominent role and share its expertise at the Americas Regional Summit. As part of the program for ministerial-level representatives, Minister Brison will have a number of key speaking roles during the Regional Meeting.
Minister Brison will provide an update on the meeting upon his return.
