Sacramento Web Agency Lockedown Design Celebrates Five Years in Business with New Service Offerings and New Website

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Entrepreneur John Locke and his team at Lockedown Design are celebrating their fifth year in business with an expansion into SEO services.

John Locke, founder of Lockedown Design

In 2009, John Locke was a factory worker at a commercial bread plant in Sacramento. Like many blue-collar workers, John wanted to change his situation. He began studying web design and development in between work shifts, and eventually, in 2012, opened Lockedown Design. Today, the web design studio he founded is celebrating its fifth year in business, its most successful year to date.

Much has changed in the time since John started his web studio. "Mobile has taken over the web, and Google has made their search index mobile-first. New web technologies appear every day, and many web agencies have closed or downsized in the last few years," says John.

"When I first started Lockedown Design, it was easier for web agencies to navigate the landscape. Today, keeping on top of changes in search engines and web development takes a lot more effort," John states.

Lockedown Design has grown in a changing industry due to their focus on customer service and communication. Most of the company's clients have been ongoing clients for several years.

"One thing we wanted to do going forward was provide more value to our clients by focusing on search engine optimization and inbound traffic," Locke says. He continues, "Many agencies are great at design or development, but there is little attention given to the return on investment those improvements to the website have to the client. This is the reason we are changing our focus to driving and converting web traffic into sales for our clients. Search rankings and inbound traffic are things we can measure, that give our clients the best return on their investment."

Lockedown Design is launching three new SEO services: in-depth SEO audits, local SEO, and ongoing SEO retainer services.

These new SEO offerings will be aimed at industrial companies, manufacturers, and blue-collar small businesses.

"We look for long-term partnerships with our clients," says Locke. "Our goal is to work with companies that we can do great work for. Home-based businesses and other solopreneurs probably aren't the best fit for us to work with, but we encourage them to get free SEO information from our blog."
