Major Deborah Sedlar, Divisional Commander of The Salvation Army's Western Pennsylvania Division is excited to see the community starting to rally around this initiative.  "We've just recently begun to seek corporate and individual support for the UnitedHealthcare Feeding Families for Life initiative. We are blessed to partner with UnitedHealthcare as our Title Sponsor, and to have many others, such as Panera Bread joining with us."  Fran Brace, the organization's Director of Development agrees, adding:  "Because we are striving to make positive changes to the way we feed people throughout a 28-county territory, we are going to need a great deal of support. We are blessed that people are recognizing the importance of our initiative and hope many more will come forward to support us.  The Panera Bread promotion is just one great example of how we can partner with companies to help the hungry in our communities."

The public can help The Salvation Army by ordering a minimum purchase of $15 online for delivery from Panera Bread now through November 30th, and remembering to put "Salvation Army" in the comments.  If you are outside of a café delivery zone, catering orders also qualify.  Every $150 in catering orders equals 10 meals donated to The Salvation Army.
